HCW: Penn Central "F" locomotive inspection

Around 8:30 am, Penn Central dispatched a pair of "F" diesel locomotives to inspect the track around the curve. Exactly 10 minutes later, rumbling was heard on track 1 as two aging locomotives descended into the Horseshoe Curve. In the front was a Penn Central F7, and the trailing units was an Ex-Pennsy F9 unit. Once the two had made their inspection rounds, more freight pulled through the curve about an hour later.
