Late into the afternoon on Saturday, some early Penn Central power was spotted climbing the Horseshoe Curve. The forefront engine is SD-45 locomotive #6234, followed by GP-40 #2498. Both units appeared freshly painted - due to the fact that the combination of the New York Central & the Pennsylvania RR occurred earlier last week (in modeling, that is.)
